ALL ABOUT ADOPTION
Adopting out our last dog, then we will be volunteering for another organization. If you are interested in adopting a dog please check out the dogs available from Recycled Pomeranian and Schipperkes.
Adopting a dog is not a decision that should not be taken lightly. It is a commitment that you are making for the lifetime of a dog. The best part about adopting a dog who has lived in foster care versus a shelter is they are coming to you with some basic training and evaluation. Each dog will have some time to get to know their foster family and vice versa. This allows rescues to evaluate the dog and know what type of home it would be best suited in. Additionally, in each foster home the dog receive basic house training. Which means you may get a dog that is already potty trained! |

Rockers (Will Use Recycled Pomeranians Adoption Contract)
Rockers is an Australian Shepard mix who is about 1 year old, and weighs around 35 pounds. She is the sweetest most affectionate dog, her biggest downfall may be that she wants to give too much love! She likes to be touching someone all the time, and loves to be scratched and pet. She is a high energy dog, so needs to be adopted by a family who is going to spend lots of time fulfilling her need for activity. She does OK with other dogs, but it is recommended that she be adopted by someone without other dogs or with only 1 other bigger dog. She is a little rough in her play to be left unsupervised with smaller dogs. She is still a puppy, so she is still working on breaking some puppy habits, but she is learning well. Rockers grew up without much human interaction at all, so her communication skills haven't been developed yet. She'll need a little extra help with that since she missed out on so much of this in her younger puppy months. Her favorite thing to do is just lay in bed with her human companions and chew on a bone. Rockers is already crate trained.
Rockers has been spayed, is current on all vaccinations, heart-worm preventive, and she is micro chipped. Adoption fee is $200.
